Monongalia County is working to bring high speed internet to our community. If you currently lack internet access or could use faster internet, Monongalia County needs your help to make it happen. Here is how it works.
The Monongalia County Commission in partnership with Ice Miller White Board, Lit Communities and DLZ are conducting this survey to gauge interest in a county-wide broadband network that would be able to provide top-tier, affordable and reliable service for Monongalia County residents, businesses and anchor institutions. The survey is one piece of a plan that will provide an analysis of needs as well as methods for increasing internet accessibility. Your survey response supports a community-led effort to bring high speed fiber internet to Monongalia County residents by quantifying the need for high speed fiber internet and identifying the most financially viable opportunities to make broadband connectivity a reality for all.
Express your interest: Take the Monongalia County Broadband Interest Survey to provide valuable feedback about your internet needs. Then, tell your neighbors to do the same! For us to determine the best way of making this project a reality we need as many responses as possible.

After the survey results have been analyzed we hope it shows there is great demand, so that we can start working towards getting high speed fiber internet to our community.
